This Privacy Policy describes how the BlinkCheck-DryEye Health application processes personal information. This service does not include login, registration, or payment features. This service includes advertising.
1. General Provisions
NALHO Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), the provider of the BlinkCheck-DryEye Health application (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"), values the user's personal information and complies with relevant laws such as the "Personal Information Protection Act."
2. Items and Methods of Personal Information Collection
A. Collected Items
- Automatic: Device information (OS, model), app usage statistics, crash logs.
- Camera Data: The app accesses the camera for blink detection. Video data is processed in real-time on the device only and is never transmitted to or stored on any server.
- Advertising: Advertising identifiers (ADID/IDFA), ad interaction data.
B. Third-Party Services (SDKs)
We use the following third-party services:
- Google Play Services & Firebase: Analytics, Crashlytics.
- Google AdMob: Advertisement delivery.
3. Purpose of Collection and Use
- Service provision (blink detection, rest reminders).
- Service improvement and error analysis.
- App usage statistics analysis.
- Advertising.
4. Retention and Use Period
This service does not have user registration, so no personal information is stored on servers. Automatically collected device information and app usage statistics are retained for up to 1 year from the date of collection and then destroyed.
5. Provision to Third Parties
We do not provide personal information to external parties in principle, except for the following service providers necessary for operation:
- Google: App analytics, crash reports, advertising.
6. Destruction Procedures and Methods
Electronic data is deleted using technical methods that make the records unrecoverable. Since this service does not store personal information on servers, all data on the device is automatically removed when the app is deleted.
7. User Rights
Users can remove all data stored on their device at any time by deleting the app. If you do not wish to have your advertising identifier collected, you can limit ad tracking in your device settings.
8. Camera Permission
This service requests camera access permission for blink detection. Video data collected through the camera is processed in real-time only on the device and is never transmitted to external servers or stored separately. Users can revoke camera permission at any time in their device settings.
9. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers (though this app does not store personal data on our servers).
10. Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012
For users in the Philippines, we process your information in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). As we do not store personal data on our servers and camera data is processed locally, your rights to privacy are strictly upheld.
